Blaze Radio’s Loaded Men’s Basketball Season Begins Wednesday Night

PHOENIX — Arizona State men’s basketball takes the floor for the first time this season Wednesday night, meaning that Blaze Radio’s coverage of Arizona State men’s basketball is back. The program is fresh off a trip to the NCAA tournament and has a loaded non-conference slate as well as a deep Pac-12 conference ahead of them this season.

“Super stoked for this upcoming men’s basketball season,” Blaze Radio Sports Director Ryan Sykora said. “Very excited about a really good schedule coming to everybody on Blaze’s airwaves. It’s an important year for Bobby Hurley and the team as they try to make it to back-to-back tournaments. Blaze Radio was able to follow them last year to Dayton and beyond. Hopefully, there’s a world where we can do that again.”

The station has 27 broadcasters set to call the action all season long, guaranteeing fans action from every game at Desert Financial Arena and several away sites.

Blaze will also have marquee non-conference matchups over the airwaves, with broadcasters calling games from Las Vegas, Nevada, for the Vegas Showdown, the Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix when Arizona State takes on Northwestern in the Jerry Colangelo Hall of Fame Series, and much more.

The station plans on sending broadcasters to multiple conference games as well, bringing you action from Oregon, Colorado, Arizona, and California when the Sun Devils travel to play both Oregon schools, Colorado, Arizona, USC, and UCLA, respectively.

Overall, Blaze Radio will have broadcasters on-site at 28 of the team’s 31 regular season games.

“This should be a special year for travel within the blaze community to follow along this super talented ASU squad,” Sykora added. “We are really looking forward to an exciting non-conference road slate and more.”

Blaze will cap off the final season of Pac-12 men’s basketball by bringing you every game at the 2024 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Nevada.”

Arizona State’s season tips off tonight as the Sun Devils are in Chicago, IL, to take on Mississippi State, a team fresh off a trip to the NCAA tournament as well, in the Barstool Sports Invitational. The game will be the station’s lone remote broadcast for the 2023-24 season, with Max Zepeda and Parker Porrill on the call from the Bill Austin Radio Studio in Phoenix, AZ.
