Blaze Sports Announces 2024 Football Commentary Team & Coverage

PHOENIX — College football returns to the desert and with that is Blaze Radio’s coverage of Arizona State football. The new season of Sun Devil football sees a revamped roster taking the field for Kenny Dillingham’s second year in charge, and the program’s first season as a member of the Big 12 Conference. Once again, Blaze Radio is excited for its enhanced coverage of ASU football from the opening kickoff against Wyoming to the final whistle in Tucson.

“The move to the Big 12 presents a lot of great opportunities for our broadcasters as well as our entire club,” said Jaden Taylor, Blaze Radio Sports Director. “This is going to be an incredible year of growth and learning, and we cannot wait to provide consistent, high-quality broadcasts to Blaze listeners all throughout the Arizona State football season.”

Andres Armenta, Jayce Cicinelli, Lochlan McTeague, Parker Porrill, and Max Zepeda will make their Blaze Radio football play-by-play debuts this fall. Joining the five will be returning broadcasters: Aiden Blanc, Cavan Malayter, Blake Niemann, Ben Parris, Brenden Paul, Dylan Pescatore, Tia Reid, Riley Swenson, Ryan Sykora, and Jaden Taylor, completing the team of 15 play-by-play broadcasters the station will feature this season.

For the second consecutive season, Blaze Radio will implement sideline reporters onto select broadcasts. This year, the station expands the pool of reporters to six, one for each game at Mountain America Stadium. Returning to the sidelines will be Lauren Avenatti, who will be accompanied by Gabby Chernoff, Ronan Heykoop, Casey McNulty, Scott Sandulli, and Mihir Sinhasan throughout the season.

“We always have an incredibly high standard for our football broadcasters, and this group is extremely hard working,” Taylor added. “With a mix of returners that have been in these moments before as well as newcomers that have worked extremely hard to hone in their craft and consistently get better, I am thrilled for what's in-store this fall.”

Coverage of each Arizona State football game on Blaze Radio begins 30 minutes prior to scheduled kickoff. With a rotating crew of hosts providing pre-/half/post-game coverage live from the Bill Austin Radio Studio in Phoenix.

Once again, all 12 regular season games will be simulcasted on Blaze Sports X (formerly known as Twitter) page, BlazeRadioOnline.com, Blaze Radio’s Mixlr page, and the Blaze Sports Stream via Blaze Radio’s Website for listeners to enjoy the station’s presentation of Sun Devil football.
