Everything You Need To Know About Camp Flog Gnaw 2024

Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw returns for its 10th Anniversary on Nov. 16-17 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival saw a three-year halt from 2020-2022 and finally returned in 2023.

The two-day festival has gained notoriety for its blend of thrilling carnival rides, games, delicious local food vendors, colorful art installments and most notably, a plethora of the most coveted musicians and bands from varying levels of success and sound.

Over the past decade, the festival has seen performances from the likes of Frank Ocean, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, KIDS SEE GHOSTS, Lana Del Rey and SZA among countless other star studded sets.

With the CFG ‘24 lineup being filled with unique talent from top to bottom, the weekend is poised to be unforgettable for all attendees. Below are the top 10 must-see performances that fans won’t want to miss:

  1. Tyler, The Creator:

As the visionary and founder of Camp Flog Gnaw, Tyler, The Creator has always put on one of the most highly attended performances of the festival. With the release of his eighth studio album, “CHROMAKOPIA,” the anticipation for his performance is sure to be atop the list for all CFG campers.

  1. Mustard & Friends:

Despite being in the game for roughly 15 years, 2024 has been Mustard's most successful year. From producing Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss, “Not Like Us,” to releasing his fourth studio album, “Faith of a Mustard Seed,” the L.A. native is sure to have the crowd bumping. Only one question remains: Who will he bring out?

  1. André 3000:

After an illustrious career as one-half of Outkast, 3 Stacks surprised the music industry last year with his long-awaited debut solo album, “New Blue Sun.” To the surprise of many, the record is completely instrumental, driven by André’s flute improvisation. Seeing this unique sound live will be a treat for listeners.

  1. KAYTRANADA:

KAYTRANADA’s fusion of house, dance, R&B and hip-hop has given him a position as one of the most talented producers in modern music. With a stacked featured list on his 2024 album, “Timeless,” his festival performance is sure to be full of surprise appearances.

  1. Doechii:

When talking about emerging artists in 2024, you can’t forget to mention Doechii. This year the Florida native released her critically acclaimed mixtape, “Alligator Bites Never Heal,” received a cosign from Kendrick Lamar, and featured on Tyler, The Creator’s CHROMAKOPIA track “Balloon.” Camp Flog Gnaw will act as Doechii’s much deserved victory lap to cap off her remarkable calendar year.

  1. The Alchemist & Friends:

If you’ve been a fan of an underground hip-hop artist over the past 15 years, the chances of them having a song produced by The Alchemist is high. The master of sampling is sure to have a set full of fellow CFG performers including Earl Sweatshirt, ScHoolboy Q, and Action Bronson, among many other guest appearances.

  1. Sampha:

Most listeners know Sampha through his collabs with Kendrick Lamar, Drake and Kanye West. However, the England native has garnered a devoted fanbase with his commanding vocal inflections and alternative R&B/neo-soul sound, which can be heard on his two studio albums, “Process” and “Lahai.” The Los Angeles crowd will certainly be satisfied if they show up for Sampha’s set.

  1. The Marías:

No band in 2024 has burst into the mainstream like The Marías have. Between combining English and Spanish in a unique lo-fi sound on their second studio album, “Submarine,” and going on tour with Billie Eilish, playing at the 10th Anniversary of Flog Gnaw just makes sense.

  1. Jean Dawson:

Jean Dawson has become a mainstay in the underground scene for roughly four years now. The genre-bending musician has collaborated with artists from SZA to Mac DeMarco to George Clanton. With his new album, “Glimmer of God,” being released just three weeks ago, attendees of the festival will need to mark in their calendar a slot of Dawson’s performance.

  1. Laila!:

Despite being the smallest artist on this list, Laila should be on any CFG fan’s travel itinerary. The 18-year-old released her self-produced debut record, “Gap Year,” late this past summer and listeners are latching on to her groovy production style and coming-of-age lyrics.
