Tommy Richman and Fellow Artists Ignite Nile Theatre in Mesa

Fans cheered and clashed as Tommy Richman, mynameisntjack, Paco and Trevor Spitta gave a one-of-a-kind interactive performance at the Nile Theatre in Mesa Friday, Feb. 28. This is their sixth stop on the 2025 Coyote Tour, and they did not disappoint Arizona.

Yet another star who has TikTok to thank for their fame, Tommy Richman, continues selling out venues nationwide. Many might recognize his top songs, “MILLION DOLLAR BABY” and “Upset” with Brent Fiayaz and FELIX!

Some longtime fans may make the connection between Richman and Brent Faiyaz. In addition to both artists being Virginian natives, Brent Faiyaz saw Richman's potential. Faiyaz helped Richman get signed to ISO Supremacy, the record label founded by Faiyaz and Darren Xu.

Richman’s style differs from the rest of the R&B and hip-hop scene. You can hear it in “MILLION DOLLAR BABY”; its bouncy baseline and funky R&B feel makes Richman stand out from other artists.

On the tour, Richman brought on his longtime friend Jmack, more commonly known by his artist name, mynameisntjmack. Mynameisntjmack is an introspective rapper with a lyrical genius who contributed to the song “seems like time moves forever” with Tommy Richman. His raw and unfiltered creative voice makes his music that much more relatable.

Mynameisntjmack raised the bar for audience participation with his performance of “numbersns---.” The rapper split the audience down in the middle and had them sing different parts of the song, competing against each other over who could be louder.

Also performing with Richman was Latin funk wave pop artist Paco. Paco is a first-generation Mexican-American whose dance moves might be just as good as his music, “These hips don’t lie,” he joked during his performance. Many of Paco’s songs dive into his experiences with love and romantic relationships in English and Spanish, making him a multicultural artist.

With three amazing artists already performing, Richman brought out a surprise guest, Trevor Spitta, to perform “TENNESSEE and more of their collaborations. Spitta walked out on that stage and brought the energy with him, jumping onto the railing between the stage and the audience to high-five fans.

Just as the night seemed to be over, the audience started cheering for an encore, and Richman obliged. All of the night’s performers came out for one last song, “ACTIN UP,” Richman’s newest release. A few fans were even invited on stage to dance with the artists. If you were close enough to be in the mosh pit, you might have been pushed and shoved to the pounding bass, but it wouldn’t have mattered with the eruptive atmosphere of this electric concert.
