Arizona State welcomed No. 15 Merrimack College to open the 2023-24 college hockey season in a two game series this past week. Williams is the last Formula 1 team not to have a confirmed driver lineup for the 2024 season. Williams, who is seventh in the constructor standings heading into the United States Grand Prix, currently has Alexander Albon and Logan Sargeant racing for them, but only Albon has been confirmed for 2024. Sargeant, a 22-year-old rookie from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has had a hard time adjusting to Formula 1 after finishing fourth in his first full Formula 2 season the year prior. Sargeant is yet to score his first point, meaning that all 23 of Williams's points come from his teammate, Albon. It isn’t just a lack of points, though. Sargeant hasn’t been able to limit accidents and is estimated to have cost his team around $3.9 million in damages as of the Japanese Grand Prix, an absolutely staggering number. Obviously, these two issues have combined to make Sargeant’s rookie season a rather disappointing one, and it makes sense that Williams is putting off having to commit to the young American for 2024. Sergeant very well could end up driving for the team again next year, but the longer it takes for him to be announced, the more it feels like it could be someone else. Who could it be, though? Well, there are undoubtedly multiple drivers Williams management could turn to, but who are those drivers, and do any of them even make sense?

The Chicago Bears’ number one contributor in their week five rout of the Washington Commanders, D.J. Moore was crucial to the Bears’ first victory on the year. Helping the Bears passing offense catch their stride in a 40-20 win, Moore is invaluable to this team. Racking up an extraordinary 230 yards and three touchdowns on eight catches, Moore is just the fifth receiver this century to put up a stat line of this caliber. Coming up just short of a franchise record of receiving yards, Moore truly had a game for the ages, only 19 yards short of ALshon Jeffrey’s single-game franchise record. Adding to an already impressive season, Moore has been one of the few highlights on a poor Bears roster.
